Greetings Fellow Triskelions,
Just wanted to share a photo taken during the 111th Philippine Independence Celebration in Southbay where my brother, Triskelion Joey Quinto (DBTI '77) was presented the "Best Jornalist of the Year Award" during the festivities by the Philippine Independence Day Foundation with Mayor Jim Dear with members of the city council and commissioners.
Joey is the publisher and editor-in-chief of California Journal. He currently serves as the Small Business Commissioner for Los Angeles and a member of the Greenlining Coalition.
He is the former Chairman of the Small Business Board for the State of California.
There were only three of us Triskelions present during the entire festivities, but rest assured, the entire city commission knows that we are members of the TAU GAMMA PHI who excel in our chosen field of interest and endeavor.
